I am missing you.

Something from a book I read today:

I wish you big soft beds with clean sheets. I wish you warm fires on cold, blustery nights and hammocks for spring days. I wish you christmas trees and homemade cookies and cute puppies and sweet-smelling babies to make you smile. I wish you ice cream and thick, green grass beneath your feet. I wish you butterflies when you jog and moonbeams at night.

I wish you dreams that reach the stars ... and I wish you peace.

[I wish you well.]

The only reason I'm writing here is because diaryland is screwed up.

I went to bed really early yesterday but was actually really tired today, and I actually slept 1/4 of the two English periods we had today away. After finishing my essay, I went to the staffroom to pass it up then had my picture taken in the music room for the school magazine.

After school I went to club. Fell asleep on the Biology book, woke up at around 4pm. Read some Bio, some physics and completed add math homework. Then I went for tuition.

I realise that my parents speak to each other in Teochew while they speak to us kids in English. I wonder if it feels weird speaking to your kids in a language that is not your mother tongue.

It was an interesting experience hearing my parents converse in English today. Quite a change from the usual dialects.

Then again it was only so that my grandma didn't understand.

Saw Melvin The Lodgian at Hui Sing drinking by himself in his uniform just now. At 10pm+.

Hrm.
